Rose is an independent, nonprofit (called a "vzw" in Belgium) and volunteer organization. Its mission is to support and foster primary education for children from economically disadvantaged rural communities in developing countries. Over the last 7 years, we have conducted more than 15 such fund-raising activities and funded more than 40 projects in around 15 states of India. Notable among our accomplishments are a project for EUR 10,000 for reconstruction of a school destroyed by the 2004 Tsunami, a project of EUR 20,000 for construction of schools for tribal girls, and a mega-project worth EUR 100,000 which has been used for funding more than a dozen projects all over India. more...
